【初中·完形填空·My First Day】
阅读下面短文，从各题所给的四个选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。

I still remember my first day at middle school. The building seemed huge, and I could not find my classroom. A teacher passing by noticed me and asked, "Are you lost?" I nodded. She walked me there herself.
In the classroom nobody spoke to me at first. Then a boy next to me pushed his chair a little and said, "You can ______ here." That was Wang Lin, my first friend at school.
At lunch time he shared his lunch with me. By the end of the day I was no longer afraid.
Now, when new students come, I try to help them the way Wang Lin helped me.
